"Your horse is almost like a painting. He is a work of art, whether he is clumsy art, fine art, or rare art depends on you, the artist. You will also leave your trademark on him. Hopefully you will be proud of it."

Star Edison. geld. Born 86 Afrikaner, / Hogsheide(geld) (kwpn).
Star Edison is one of our family horses, who started as Helene’s little naughty youngster. We found him in Holland, unbroken. We have later been told by the previous owner that we were not the first to have bought him. Actually we were nr.3! The others returned him in a matter of minutes. After having scared other horses around Europe for years (he turned fast when he met other horses head on) and after Helene had started to compete him at gp. We realized that life was to short to take these kind of risks. Edison went to Germany to Lillian Grepne, to try to find himself a new owner. After numerous jumps, turns and injuries, he came back to us. In order not to risk Helene’s health any more, Per started riding him. A little more weight on his back seemed to slow him down. Good tours to Denmark and Sweeden(globen) as well as interntional placing at cdi’s in England( Hickstead ) and Oslo(spectrum). In the end it was Lise-Lotte who finally got the better of him. As her junior horse he competed well at the Nordic Championships, and made there début at gp. By winning! And thereby her dad in the “Ofshore grand prix” at Stavanger, Norway. He is still in shape, and might be making a come back next year.

Star Fortune. Geld 87 Zeolith, /. Pertian Path xx (kwpn)
Fortune, as many know, is a little boy in a big horse boddy. He has been scared his whole long life, and has spooked all over Europe. In spite of this, he has won 10 national titles in a row, something never before done, and not likely to happen again. With Per, he has competed at the world championships in Rome, and at two European championships- Arnheim, and Verden. They have won many gp. Together, but 3 and 5. places at Hickstead cdio, and 3. place at Vilhelmsborg cdi stand out as the best results. Bought as a youngster for Helene, and later winner of the young horse championships together, he was later traded to Per when Dalgas was a better candidate for her than spooky Fortune. We are also planning a come back next year if we can get back in shape during the winter.

Egges Lanja .Mare. born.94, Clavesimbel, /Action (kwpn)
Kalled “the Madonna with the big boobies”, she was bought at the end of a not to distinguished jumping career. She has fantastic breeding, in that both her father and mothers father are experts in piaffe and passage. Now pregnant with Løvenborgs Revenge, after we thought an sholder injury would set a stopp to her dressage career, she is doing better than ever before. She has competed up to SB1, and is as her breeding suggests, very good at the hard stuff. Were looking forwards to seeing the “love child” next year.

Beatrice. Mare born 98 Bernstein / Pajazzo
Bea, as she is called, was born in Norway at our place, and is a valued member of our family. She has survived an colic operation, with following complications, and the whole family has held her alive when not even the veterinaries thought she would survive. She is very expressive, but a little nervous at shows, which is understandable since she has barely been to any. Competing at medium b
